Meet Teresa Glass
Learn about Teresa's commitment to the St. Paul community and her vision for a brighter future for all students.

My journey to the school board
I served St. Paul Public Schools for 18 years, first as an Occupational Therapist for 12 years and then as the Districtwide Assistive Technology Lead for 6 years. This extensive experience provided me with deep knowledge of internal district systems and departments, which I believe is crucial for making informed decisions. My goal is to improve resource utilization, increase fiscal responsibility, and ensure high academic expectations for all students.

A global perspective on education
Over a decade of my adult life has been spent living and working in non-English speaking cultures. These experiences have given me invaluable respect for diverse cultures and languages. I have extensive experience working closely within communities, and I am fluent in Spanish. Through a highly engaged community, we successfully created community-based rehabilitation and special education programs for over 350 children with disabilities in an isolated and economically disadvantaged area of the Amazon, simply by leveraging individual skills and existing resources.

My goals for St. Paul schools
If elected, I aim to significantly increase student literacy numbers, improve the use of existing physical and human resources, and foster increased fiscal responsibility. I advocate for equity across all programs, ensuring that every student receives the instruction and support they require to reach their maximum academic potential.
"I believe that ALL children have a right to a GOOD public education."
